Empowering communities through transformative education, in schools, health centres, social centers, and direct engagement with people and migrants.
The mission of the Religious of the Assumption is to make Jesus Christ known and loved through transformative education that nurtures faith, fosters personal and social growth, and works for the renewal of society in the light of the Gospel.
Transformative Education:
The mission of the Assumption is marked by transformative education. It is a gradual,
personal and integral transformation, enabling each person to be themselves as fully as
possible. This transformative process, which affects both the individual and the
community, brings people to be active participants in the transformation of society.
Its aim is the extension of the Kingdom of God in oneself and in others.
The educational mission in the Assumption is characterized by a transformative education that always takes place from a context of listening to the needs and concerns of young people, families, the elderly and others, always in the light of the Faith.
In the apostolate of the Religious of the Assumption, we meet people where they are, in the realities of their daily lives. With faith and compassion, we listen to their stories and walk with them toward the fullness of life God desires for all. Seeing Jesus in all we do, we journey together in hope and love, knowing that Christ is both our companion and our goal.
We promote inclusive education that respects and celebrates diversity in all forms. From early childhood to adult education, we support equal access to quality learning for all.
Our social work initiatives support vulnerable groups, bridge cultural gaps, and foster understanding between migrants and local communities through targeted programs and outreach.
We advocate for equitable healthcare by working with hospitals and clinics to ensure services are accessible, culturally competent, and responsive to migrant and marginalized communities.
Working alongside migrants, we co-create solutions that address displacement, identity, education, and employment, building inclusive futures rooted in dignity and mutual respect.
